Brand development for global recruitment agency

Planet Forward, is a US based global recruitment firm working across multiple industries such as Energy, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals. The group had an already well established profile in the US but wanted to grow it’s reputation across the UK and wider European countries.

With the opening of new offices and the introduction of new services the company wanted to re position it’s brand to reflect it’s ambitious growth plans whilst retaining the values on which it was originally established.

The challenge

In a nutshell we were commissioned to create a new global brand and three new websites.

This project wasn’t just about creating a series of logo’s and visuals, it was about creating a competitive advantage. It was about creating a positioning that allowed Planet to own something that was individual to them. But the challenge didn’t end there, once the brand was established it needed to be brought to life online.

Our starting point was to identify a positioning that defined the Planet Group for both now and in the future. So our starting point was to Listen and Learn. A research programme took place where we spoke to Colleagues, Clients and Candidates, to understand their perceptions of the business and it’s people. Many common themes emerged that gave us an incredibly strong strategic and creative direction on which to take the brand.

The Result

The Planet proposition differentiates and creates a real statement about the type of the business they are. It supports their drive and determination without being overtly aggressive.

It reinforces the fact that every Planet person immerses themselves into the world in which they operate to become an expert in their field. They go above and beyond what is the norm of the industry placing people in a career, not just a job.

“Beyond expectations”

Many consider recruitment as a linear transaction, where tried and tested techniques are deployed by consultants. This is believed to be recruitment. We believe this to be ordinary, limiting and expected. We are different, we think differently and work differently. We Go Beyond. The brand was executed through a new identity and bespoke photography, shot in the UK. Three new websites were also created with Live jobs board functionality that linked to Planet’s back end CRM system. This was all delivered in house by the Fogg Team.
