The Caravan Club – Big Little Tent Festival

Reaching a new audience

The Caravan Club are champions of the great outdoors and represent the interests of over one million caravanners, motorhomers and trailer tent owners across the UK.

The club approached Fogg with the brief of broadening the reach of their brand to new, younger audiences. The chosen platform to do so was a camping event with the aim of bringing families together to enjoy the great outdoors.

The activity was aimed at encouraging families to start their own ‘Big Little Adventure’ and have a festival in their own gardens by camping out together over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Fogg devised the The Big Little Tent Festival and worked with the Caravan Club to produce all the promotional collateral for the festival from bunting to wristbands, experiential promotions and digital marketing campaigns.

The Process

Founder of Fogg Associates, Chris Fogg said, “We’ve been really honoured to be involved in this project. It’s taken the team back to their childhood to develop the concept.

We’re delighted to be able to work with The Caravan Club to help establish this first event and engage in a really worthwhile cause and are proud to see that it’s been such a great success!”

The Result

“We’re delighted with the reaction to the Big Little Tent Festival. As an inaugural event, heavily dependent on social media, it was important to pitch it at the right level creatively for our target audience and that’s what we’ve done.

Everyone has been really engaged and supportive and we were delighted to see all the different shapes and sizes of tents and activities that people got involved with on the day!”
