of commercial creativity. Students brought in their portfolios/show-reels
and gained insight into how to promote themselves and their work.
"The portfolio surgeries were really useful as I was able to get feedback
on my portfolio from some great Designers and Creative Directors. Chris'
feedback was useful as his views on my work were different from others;
being so enthusiastic about my work gave me confidence about my work.
I kept in touch and was offered a placement, working on live briefs-it
gave me a real sense of what a professional role would be like. I also
loved how friendly everyone was and how welcome they made me feel."
Undergraduate BA(Hons) Graphic Design, Stockport College.
