Capturing the heart of the nation is what every marketing function aspires to do, especially those that represent the many great causes and non-profits we have in this country. It is over course however, no mean feat.

One campaign that really seems to have achieved this is the Missing Type campaign for National Blood Week.

Not only has the campaign worked in the sense of generating huge amounts of awareness and oversubscribed donation sessions but to have so many businesses of all shapes and sizes participating in a variety of ways is amazing to see and a real credit to NHS Give Blood.

I can’t think of any single campaign that has had such impact across the nation and for such a simple yet extremely effective idea the resonance it has had is nothing short of incredible.
